• Library Board – 4th Wednesday of each Month 6PM
• Preston Park Board –  First Monday of each Month 5PM
• Planning Commission – Third Monday of each Month 5PM
• Tourism Board – Quarterly Meetings

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must:

• Be a resident of the City of Preston

• Be entitled to vote in any election

• Be at least 21 years of age

Consumer Confidence Report

The State of Minnesota requires public water suppliers to prepare annual water quality reports (Consumer Confidence Reports) for their customers. The reports tell where drinking water comes from, what’s in it, and how you can help protect it.

Preston Public Utilities has completed and submitted our water service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The water service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking (LITT) you may also contact us at 507-765-2491 or Contact us Here.  To complete the service line inventory our system went door to door to visually inspect the water service line where it entered the home.  As of 10/1/2024 our inventory contains 1 lead, 27 galvanized requiring replacement, 18 unknown material, and 616 non-lead service lines.
